Medications
Please follow your physician’s instructions regarding medications before your procedure.
- Be sure your provider has an up-to-date list of all medications you take, including prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements, and that there are no changes between your last provider visit and your procedure day. Follow your provider's instructions regarding these medications.
- Be sure to inform your care team if you take blood thinners, diabetes medications, or have medication allergies.
Fasting Instructions
You will receive specific instructions about eating and drinking before your procedure.
- Following fasting instructions is important for your safety during anesthesia.
- If you are unsure about your fasting instructions, please contact your physician’s office prior to your procedure.
Transportation & Support Person
For your safety:
- You will be required to have a responsible adult accompany you and drive you home after your procedure.
- Plan for someone to stay with you for at least 24 hours after discharge, as recommended by your care team.
What to Bring
Please bring:
- A valid photo ID
- Your insurance card(s), if applicable
- Any current changes to your health information, allergies or medications since your last provider visit

Day of Your Visit
Arrival
- Arrive at the time provided by your provider.
- Wear comfortable clothing.
- Our staff will review your information, answer questions, and help prepare you for your procedure.

We respect each patient’s individual needs, values, and preferences.
- If you have cultural, religious, language, or communication preferences, please be sure your provider has been informed. We utilize seamless communication between your provider and the facility.
- Language assistance may be available upon prior request.
After Your Procedure
Before you leave, your care team will review:
- Discharge instructions
- Medications and activity restrictions
- Reminders to monitor symptoms, side effects
- If you experience any severe symptoms or changes go to the nearest emergency room or call 911
